Aspire Health is the nation’s largest community-based palliative care provider, currently operating in 23 states and 56 cities.  Aspire specializes in providing an extra layer of support to patients facing a serious illness through an ambitious palliative care program focused on caring for patients in their homes and outpatient clinics.  Aspire’s clinicians are experts in providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness; helping patients and caregivers navigate the healthcare system; guiding patients and caregivers through difficult and complex treatment choices; and providing emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.


The Clinical Program Manager will be responsible for driving clinical initiatives across the organization from identifying, designing and leading complex programs to analyzing and translating clinical requirements into solutions to shape care delivery and outcomes.


This position will lead highly visible and complex improvement projects that are of strategic importance to Aspire. In this role, this position will drive the development and execution of the agreed upon initiatives and action plans and deliverables.  


  • Accountable for ensuring that necessary action plans and deliverables are completed in a timely, cost effective, and operationally effective manner.
  • Determine goals and priorities with sponsoring senior executives, as well as develop proposals outlining proposed project structure, approach and work plan.
  • Oversee or be responsible for designing and executing plans for data gathering and analysis.
  • Responsible for interpreting analysis and ensuring the effective coordination, approval and implementation of appropriate action plans.
  • Facilitate sessions to support the design, development, and implementation of programs and key initiatives.
  • While providing overall direction for complex projects may also assume the role as the manager of one or more initiatives.
  • Responsible for ensuring all team members have the appropriate standards, procedures, policies, and timely and accurate reporting to support their needs and drive to the desired outcomes.

Education and experience requirements

  • Master’s degree (preferred).
  • Clinical background (RN, NP, PA, pharmacist) preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing clinical projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Word) (required).
