Aspire Health is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle who will provide strategic administration, coordination, and maintenance of all operational activities and reporting, including the development and implementation of programs and processes to address issues required for the successful operation of billing and accounts receivable.

You will oversee a staff of billing professionals in support of our partners. The ideal candidate for this role will possess superior interpersonal qualities with an ability to articulate a vision and influence others in the support of business objectives and accomplishment of strategic goals. Excellent communication, facilitation and conflict resolution skills, within a positive and engaging work environment are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic and operational RCM goals and objectives to support the vision, mission and values of Aspire Health.
  • Responsible for all revenue cycle functions including system billing, reporting and support.
  • Develop and implement management reporting of functional areas including AR, coding, QA, denials, payment compliance, and others.
  • Ensure that all RCM practices reach or exceed standards and compliance of all required by all state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Promote financial viability through the identification and analysis of design of jobs, work processes, and technology utilization to promote effectiveness, productivity, and efficiency that supports the overall goals of Aspire Health.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on all forecasting, budgeting and ensuring that all internal controls are in place and followed.
  • Prepares analysis of claim or payer activities, initiates discussions with payers on reimbursement activities for claim resolution
  • Coordinates activities across organizational lines to insure a unified and proactive billing process within the areas that are serviced by the revenue cycle department
  • Must be fluent in reimbursement methodologies, CMS regulations, state regulations related to the claim submission process and appeal process
  • Responsible to ensure all Financial and Medicare audit papers are completed as required
  • Develops and maintains a month-end financial reporting package on company performance.
  • Maintains an adequate balance between legal and financial responsibility to insure compliance with the external laws and regulations
  • Drive EHR/revenue cycle management software/outsourcing evaluation, selection, and implementation.
  • Advises Chief Financial Officer of changes in procedures and requirements necessitated by both internal and external factors.
  • Mentors and develops staff through 1:1 meetings, goal setting, annual performance reviews and development of leadership skills
  • Responsible for hiring, progressive counseling and works with HR on employment decisions
  • Responsible for securing education and training for department staff
  • Attends industry training and education as requested
  • Other related duties as deemed necessary by Aspire Health

Licensure/Certification Requirements

  • Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)
